Year 5 WOW Day - "A Viking Tale"
Year 5 had a fantastic visit from the Hobgoblin Theatre Company with their performance of "A Viking Tale." The children were told the story of Freya, a young Viking girl, as she goes on a quest to find treasure and save her village. Along the way, we learnt about life both in Scandinavia and Angland (England) as it is now known.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the interactive performance along with a drama workshop which allowed the children to work in groups to explore the themes of the play in creative and exciting ways.
