Odd Socks Day 2021

Yesterday the school was awash with colour as children and staff came to school wearing odd socks.  It was a special day and served to launch our 'Anti-bullying week' in school.  The symbolism of odd socks teaches children that they are all unique and helps us all to learn values of acceptance and friendship and that everyone is free to express themselves.  This year the Anti-bullying Alliance is calling for people to use 'One Kind Word'.  We will be teaching the children in school about the importance of kind words and kind actions and finding ways we can eliminate bullying behaviour.  Thank you to all those who joined in the fun and rocked their socks!
